These two locomotives were built on Bachmann’s N scale 2-6-2 mechanisms. I used the stock mechanisms, boiler, drawbars and replaced the pilot wheels. The Forney’s trailing truck is the modified front tender truck. Both run well and negotiate the 9 ¾ inch curves on my test track. The Currier Falls and Monroe Bridge is a fictitious short line bringing emery ore to the Boston & Maine.
Hmm. I found seven pages of HO scale Selley on their site. Did not spot locomotive domes. Saw some tank car domes.
Got it. Thought those were bells. Could not get their illustration to enlarge enough to even read print. Had to use a magnifying glass!
Those are come great conversions! It looks like you did a really good job removing the original 3 domes, and making them only have 2 domes. There would be a big hole between the steam dome and the generator, but you did an excellent job filling that in.
