I successfully installed a TSU 1000, speaker, and all my lights in an S Scale GP9. However, I need help with some things.

Decoder works fine, and I have two separate flashing beacons on the roof, one set to single flash, the other set to double flash. I would like to change the flash rate of the single to make it go a little faster, but dont know how. I also dont want it to affect any of the other lights.

Here is how I got it to work

CV 49 programmed 5. It works fine.

I dont know how to fine tune CVs. I know how to enter a CV, and then program it to the set value, but
I dont know what to do after that to fine tune it. I dont understand how hex and decimal values work, or how
    to program them

Be as basic as possible. I am using an early 2000s Digitrax Zephyr, it only has 9 functions. Please tell me what CV to enter, what to program it to, and how to add on the decimal values. I still havent figured out how to do it.

I don't know if this will set the flash rate on all lighting outputs or not. CV59 will set the flash rate. A value of zero is the max rate and a value of 15 is the min.

My solution costs money but it may serve you best in the long run, get the computer/track/DCC interface and download the free program - Decoder Pro. This program really is in its strength when dealing with sound decoder, even if you are having light issues.

Changing CV 59 worked, and it only controlled the flashing lights, not the front or rear headlights.

    Thanks

Glad to hear that this helped.
BTW did it change the flash rate of your double flash rate too?

It changed the rate of both flashing beacons.

Thats interesting. I couldn't get the flashing beacon to work on my Tsunami, even tsunami could not give me any proper advice.
