Hey, all! Anyone know where or how I can locate and maybe purchase some of these locos in Z-scale? I model the Milwaukee Road, and these look close enough to they're boxcabs that they ran. With some black/orange paint, and decals, they would look close enough for me!!
    ;)

I have seen a few folks go this route in N scale.. They do end up with a resemblance... Try putting a want ad in our Swap Meet, as that's our designated buy, sell, swap area.

Those kits are long out of production, sold only in Japan, Alex sold one I built just recently.

Kurt, Don't think it will ever happen, who's going to buy them apart from you? ;) And if you get the shell what chassis?
The MILW boxcabs where double units and had also a funny wheel arrangement, 2-B+B + B+B-2. Way to exotic for Z and id somebody really would do them a $$$ item

Kurt... I talked directly with the Japanese manufacturer during a train show near Tokyo a few months ago. They have no interest or intentions of doing anything in Z. As for the kits... I've looked everywhere. Nada... nothing... zero... zilch... goose eggs...

That's a serious pity: the kit, concept and quality was great. Should have bought more....

    Thank you, Gentlemen.

You know the old saying, "see it then, get it then". You never know when you'll see it again......
