I've build three small fishing vessels that are from the North Sea, but are equally home around the US. The hulls are built up styrene. Included are full hull decals for the North Sea versions, custom made winches, and brass railings and ladders.

    The first (SD4-WattenMeer) is a 50' (15 m) crabber or shrimper.

    The second (FE4-Christine) is a typical 63' (19 m) trawler rig.

    Last (FE5-Visarned) is a 75' (23 m) trawler rig with twin holds.

See my website for ordering details. These are not usually available as built-ups, but inquire, as I will build them as my building schedule permits.

Those are really nice Pete. I love the first one. Now if I had a port scene, I'd snap one up in a flash.

Are they ready for order? Ok I look at your website. I also like the top one, the shrimp boat. How do I order one? Send you an email? I doubt it has ever been near the Mississippi river but I don't care. I want one. I haven't started on the Mississippi module so I haven't started to build the tug yet. So the shrimp boat will just be sitting in the water looking good next to the tug.

When I think of it. Why wait for me to get around starting on a Mississippi module. If I pretend that my loop is running along the river I can turn the front into a river bank. That's a thought.

The other two looks Scandinavian. I pass on the link to the other guys around here.

Yes, send me an email to peterknolan@gmail.com.

I'll admit that I have been very remiss about building an on-line ordering system. I was in public relations/marketing my whole career, and now favor building ships over marketing them. I will eventually get the ordering system up and running.

Yes, the two rear cabin ships are from the Wadden Sea (Watten Meer auf deutsche). I could not find a picture of the stern, nor find them in a registry. I believe, from the bow markings, that they are registered in Germany. Not quite Scandanavian, but plying the same waters.

And the shrimper/crabber would be quite at home along the Gulf of Mexico coast. I've spent most of my life up north (New England, Pacific Northwest, Alaska) so I'm not that familiar with "southern" fishing boats.

I made these on commission, and thought them very interesting boats.
