    I wonder if this was filmed a bit earlier? The narrator mentions "the War" during the hump yard scene. The film style might fit, it seems more like pre-Korean War. But I'm probably wrong.

    Ken, I believe it was produced shortly after WW-II, but using some footage shot before and during the War.

    That's closer to what I was thinking. 1950's just doesn't seem right.
