Girders and bridge track are from Micro-Engineering. The aboutments and center pole are scratch built with 1mm evergreen plastic card.
The lighting looks great! I think you said the LEDs were 3000K color temperature. Do you have a link to the LED strips? Just wondering how these are wired.
I have found the strip at my local tool store. It was 900 lumen, 5 meters long, temperature : 3000 kelvins from the brand Starlight. I can't found details about this on the net . . . sorry !
Hello all !! I'm working on the whethering of my coal train. So her is some photos of the job done : And a video of the train in action :
You are going to have to put covers over all those coal hoppers. You know the coal dust thing. Looking spiffy.
Stunning details. I've been out for some months, and just caught up. Wow. That crane is unreal! Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
I just come from the second edition of the french American model railroading convention. I was a great train show with nice layouts. I was member of the staff of the meetting. Here is a video of the show, hop you will enjoy it : Can somebody tell me if there a special area to post the photos and video of train show on Trainboard please ?
Pretty much just posting in an appropriate existing forum, as you have done. If looking for an image hosting site, we have RailImages.
Hello all ! After an N scale pause, Caused by the construction of my Garden layout. And after some time spent to creat a facebook page for my layout, I am back to business. So here is the project witch is on my workbench. I would like to realize an evocation of the Gates rubber plant water tank in Denver. Here is prototype : Here the base, a cornerstone walthers kit : I have shortened the legs, replace the ladder by a brass kit, and rebuilt the falling tube with a scratchbuilt valve. I also have scratchbuilt the structure of the firm sign : A tamiya medium grey is sprayed for priming the model : A metal coat is sprayed, it is AK extreme metal aluminum, notice the logo on the back of the cell : A blank test with the signs : The next stape will be the weathering. See you soon, Bye. Jef
Well done! Love the coal train, I am experimenting with removing the loads and adding a touch of adhesive and then dipping them into a bowl of coal dust to get a similar effect as yours. I am hoping they come out better than they started....
