Atlas will be producing a special run, commissioned by Scott Fortier and the "Northeast N-scalers" of
The Boston & Maine GP9 "Bluebird".

    For details, go to:
    http://www.n-scaler.com/

I've waited a looooong time for these and we're finally going to get them.
The idea for this project originated at this year's Springfield Show after Scott, Jon and I talked to Cory.

    I ordered a pair......Thanks for getting
these done. Kudos to everyone involved in the project! [IMG]

Perhaps with the success of this venture,
Atlas will consider running an N Scale version of the B&M Geep they did in HO? [IMG]

    I'd buy those too! [IMG]

Now all they need are the orange step wells and chipped paint :D All kidding aside that was the best blue paint scheme they had, lot better that Guilford Gray.

Hmm, It is nice looking, I should get one just to support the idea but I don't know if I can justify it.

Hoping to resurrect this old post ...
I just saw a couple of these NEN GP9s pop-up on eBay, and a shell sold last week. I never knew they existed. The NEN website seems stale. Are these guys around to push for another run? Judging from the prices the poor-running Bluebird LL GP-18s go for on eBay, there's plenty of demand for Bluebird-painted B&M locos.
