I just bought an MRC Prodigy Elite. This is my first DCC system, but I've run some of my dual mode locos at the club so I have a little experience with DCC. When I hooked the unit up to the track, everything was fine. I could bring up all my different locos, and I set up a consist with my 2 BLI E6s......everything worked fine. However I needed to change the address's since they were still set at factory address 3. So I added a Program track and I got nothing.........there is no power coming from the Program Track outputs. I've gone thru the manual multiple times and can't find anything I did wrong. Did I miss something? Any suggestions?

Dave, I have no Idea on your problem however I have and MRC Prodigy 2 and never encountered that problem with the programing track. Are you saying that the program response doesn't come up or the loco won't run on the programing track. It shouldn't run on the programing track at all. Switch to the power side or better yet when on the program track follow directions to read what your setting is. Beyond this I have no answer but there is a great site on Yahoo groups that can yelp you. Look up MRC-DCC on Yahoo groups. Good luck. Wayne

I've checked the wiring (power off with an ohm meter) and the circuit is complete from the program terminals to the track. but the program track seems dead. I can place a loco on the track, but cannot read or program. The controller is working..........I can bring up "program track" , and "loco" and click enter and the controller reads "send" and the communication light comes on , but nothing happens. If I click "read" it shows it's reading, but it never finds any info, even when I know there's data there. Same for all 6 of my current locos. I can program on the main........... It's almost as if everything is working, but there's an open circuit somewhere. Thanks for the Yahoo tip.
