    This is pretty funny. They are producing a RR specific car -- however the first releases will be for RR's other than the prototype.

    Well... I guess I missed all the associated hints along the way. I don't have a Facebook account and rarely 'nose-up'to 'The Wire'... so I was surprised to see a potential release of such an unusual car. So... my apologies to anyone offended... specially Joe D'Amato and Micro-trains.

    Most definitely. And these weren't just for transporting racehorses; the stall frames were removable. Just like the boxcars marked AUTOMOBILE were used for other cargo, the horse-mail-baggage cars were used for other purposes from the beginning. You can use this to fill out mail trains as mail storage cars, my intended purpose. If your passenger train carried mail, there could easily be offline cars like this in the consist which could be picked up and dropped en route like mail-baggage cars or carried the whole route.
