It's time to choose what type of rail cars we would like to see for a Frisco special run. You may vote twice and you can change your vote if needed. Also say how many sets you would like to buy. Our goal is to reach 100 sets.

Please alert your contacts to this thread and cast your vote!!!

Now there are 22 votes for a Frisco special run. Boxcars have the lead with 10 and Hopper and Tank have 3 each. Be sure to state how many sets you would buy. I will buy two sets, one to run and one to leave wrapped.

Please alert your contacts to this thread!!!

OK here they come around the bend with Boxcars in the lead with 11, Hoppers in second with 5, third is hotly contested between Tanks and Cabooses with 3 and the rest closely behind. Next update will be at the next bend.

    Chose boxcar and hopper.
    Quick question:
    1. What kind of hopper? 2/3 bay covered, or coal?

    Also a suggestion?
What about a 2-3 car run, of the top 2-3 suggestions?
For example: boxcar/gondola/tank car. Or boxcar/flatcar/caboose.

Might be interested in a couple of cars, or sets.
One to save, and one to mess up and run!!
Mess up, as in graffiti and weathering!

Still an all original Frisco coal hopper on the Great Western in Loveland!
Have a photo or two of it somewhere!

We would love to do a runner pack or multiple cars. All we need is people to commit. If people want it we'll do a 10 car set. LOL.

All we need to do is get enough people to commit to 100 sets of what ever we pick for a special run no matter how many cars there are in the run.

With 40 votes in Boxcars have the lead with 12, close behind in second is Hoppers with 10, third is Cabooses with 6 and the others close behind.

Unfortunately we still only have 4 sets that are spoken for. It's imperative that you say how many sets you would like to buy. Our goal is for 100 sets.

    Please post your commitments!!!

Joe, please explain the sets. ie, how many cars in a set, what cars in a set, ect. I'm a little confused at what I'd be committing to.

Pastoolio, I would like to have a 3-5 car release. What type is still to be determined. Right now Boxcars have the lead with Hoppers close behind. I wish I could narrow it down more but it's still too early. The poll close's on February 21st. The commitment at this point in time is not a financial binding agreement. It's more of a like to buy. Our goal is to reach a 100 sets or more before we start with the manufacturing process.

Think I already stated, but if not, I'm
in for 2 sets. One to display, one to mess up and run!

I might not mind even, having a set of cars, either partially numbered, or unnumbered.
With a small set of matching number decals, so I could number
several cars without duplicating car numbers. A way to build a decent fleet, as needed.

Might be more trouble than it's worth. But I thought I'd make the suggestion.

I'd be in for a set. My druthers (strictly my own) would be for a mixed car set (maybe 2 40' box, 1 open hopper and 1 gondola), or Keith's idea above about numbers if all cars are of the same type (maybe 3 covered hoppers).

I'd be in for a hopper or a boxcar, if it somewhat fits into my era.

Thanks guys!!! I will keep your suggestions in mind. With the Boxcars and Hoppers running neck to neck it could justify a mixed set.

With 43 votes in, the Boxcars and Hoppers are running side by side, Cabooses lead the Tanks by a neck. The rest of the field are close behind except for some strange reason Flats have yet to leave the starting gate. You have requested 8 sets so far.

Please post how many sets you would like to buy. This is not a financially binding agreement.

Ok Joe, that's what I thought. I will commit to a set. If it includes cars that don't fit my modeled era, then there is always selling them on the 'net.
But with hoppers and boxcars in the lead, I don't think I'll need to resort to that. (y)

There are 9 sets spoken for so far. I need to clarify a commitment is not a financially binding agreement!!! It's more of a like to buy and our goal is to reach 100 sets. With 42 votes in, some of the voters haven't said how many sets they would like. Please let me know how many you want.
