Cold winter in New Zealand...... Remember who you're talking to here........ </font>[/QUOTE]It can get cold around these parts, Grant; too cold for wearing shorts. Indeed, it has been known to drop to nearly freezing on the occasional night!!!!
Hi Grant well it is May so I thought I would be the one to check in with a post. Let us know the status please.... CHOMPS at BIT
Hemi, I am leaning on painting one into MRL and the other two into the Ski Train. For some reason I just do not like the F40, but I really like the F45s GRIN. For mine I will go with the MRL gave them to the Rio for next to nothing when MRL got there SD70s and the Rio rebuild them for the Ski Train.
Here's the latest..... The laser cutter accidentaly sent the wrong windows (SD40-2F). The F45 windows will be shipped on Friday. Drawings haven't shown up yet but expected any day now. I appreciate your patience. Wish I had some more of it!!! grant
Well we finally made it. All the bits are in the same place and packaging will start over the weekend. Should be ready to ship the middle of June. I appreciate all the patience shown. grant
Yippiee!!!!! Where's the old 'Yippiee' bubble we used to have? Oh well, these will have to work!:w20z6q: :w20z6q: :w20z6q:
Thanks Grant, Great pics of a very nice model, I am looking forward to getting stuck into building the 4 of these I have on order with you!!
Grant and I are headed on holidays, going to railfan the MRL with Hemi. He said that they might be in when we return, remember I get the first 2!
Anxious! Oh yeah, for Mullan Pass, yeah, that's it...:shade: I think it'll look great in Big Sky Blue...:lightbulb: I have a couple mechs set aside for another pair in the future.... BN & MRL......:teeth:

Caught 393 working over Mullan on the weekend. And of course had to stop in at Livingston to shoot 391. grant
I had the 390 on my train a few weeks ago. Took pictures of both sides of the loco, in the cab and engine compartment. I think we have all the MRL units covered now. ( I would post some pics but can't get them to post) Steve
Dude, next time put the "Just kiddn'" in bold or something, so I notice it. You made me look...at Kato's website.
