i have one of katos 11-car zephyr set. very nice cars but unfortunately neither cp rail nor via rail. is there a big difference between the zephyr and via rails 'canadian' ? i really consider relettering the 11 cars to go behind the few kato f40ph which should be here soon. (undecs of cours, future via equipment)
I've got a bunch of Con-Cor cars from a fellow that got a Zephyr and I plan to model Canada cars with them. If you find decals for the cars, lemme know. I figure 2 F40's should run well. Now to make up a VIA A/C unit.. Kel
Sandro, While Kato did release their corrugated SS passenger cars lettered for the CP it wasn't quite the 'prototypical, train' effort that they did with modeling the CalZephyr consist. It's an excellent train though and maybe your friend Steve (now in New Zealand) might have pictures of the twelve car set that I sent his way? Don
