First of all, Jim ... I called you "Mike". Had a serious brain-fart then and now my face is red. :/
When I was young and living in Burbank, CA, I visited the Lockheed Employees' Model RR Club, which was located off of Hollywood Way near Vanowen Blvd. I was taken by the size and scenery of the layout. There was a great deal of special effects that was built into the entire thing. I was told much of the special effects was due to the fact there was several members who worked at the Disney Studios (also located in Burbank).
It's amazing what can be done with talent, and imagination. Again, thanks for posting. :)

This is an oldie for me. N Scale refinery on the Southern New Mexico N Scalers layout in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Made up of two Walthers refinery kits, one Plastruct refinery kit, plus many scratch built units as well. Spent many hours building this refinery that was originally on my NTrak modules. A great deal of fun!

Ironhorseman, No worries. No doubt these 'imagineers' are a special breed. However when the NMRA had an layout tour of my layout this gentleman was there and said he wished he could do scenery like mine. So, like the old gun fighters of the wild west; there is always someone faster. Jim
