Anyone know where I can get Figures of kids playing soccer. I am willing to paint if they are close enough. I saw Baseball and football but they won't work. Also what scale measurements should I be searching under. Is it 1/48?
It is not too hard to modify plastic people to get them into the poses you want. I slice off arms and legs at different joints and glue them back to get what I want then paint them. Try it.
maybe this could work. Also, I have some great figures in plastic that are 1:72. Any way to shrink those? Microwave?
I wish. No, I don't think that is possible. There are a lot of 1:160 figures out there. Some inexpesive like Life Like and some very high quality like Priezer. Even the Woodland Scenics would work for cut and glue. The kids playing "pick-up" baseball may be a good starting place. Chop the bat off and turn the batter into a goal keeper catching a soccer ball, etc.
I'm sure WS will do soccer players. Did you check Preiser, they make action figures as well. Stay cool and run steam....
Was there not an article in Model Railroader a few months back about a husband/wife dual (home& ntrak module) layouts in N that had a soccer field and a baseball field on it. Don't remember if the article said anything about it, but I do remember seeing the soccer (MY OTHER LOVE) figures. Sorry I can't remember which month it was, can not find that issue. Maybe some of our MoPac fans can remember the issue, the husband/wife modeled the MOP. MOPHEAD
