I'm currently working on weathering a gondola. It's a CB&Q # 82140 I think it's a proto 2k. Because of my mishandling I've broken off all four stirrups which appear to be side mounted. Does anyone know where I can can find replacements? I've tried A-Line but they all seem to be under side mounting
I have had the same problem with mine. I ended up going with the A-line stirrups on one bent to match the same shape as the original stirrups. If you want side mount stirrups, these aren't exactly the same style but they are very nice and you get a ton of them: https://exactrail.com/collections/h...cts/details-stirrups-side-mount-bolted-square I've used them on some scratchbuilt flatcars.
I just ordered some stirrups from Tichy. Looks like they might work #3047. I'll let you Know The Results!
