I am painting couple of GATX leasers. I bought couple of undecorated SD70's during the Black Friday sale.

The business district has four buildings now. The left one still needs to be finished however.

    Hi David,

Is your GP40-2 based on AZL GP38-2 or MTL GP35?

F40PH looks good! The nose/front windows are right at our locomotive shell. The FR shell has a wrong angle on the front windows.

No John, it's not food! Actually, there is no room to put any food on the table.

Styrene, glues, tools, RTV, resins, etchings, metals, nope, nothing to eat!

Give me a weekend or two to come up with something that can be photographed.

I just received my big box of supplies from Micro-Mark so it's time to get busy!

All three of my GP40s are MTL based stretched chassis so they run well together. They are simply cut down SD40 shells. The work comes with the walkways and modifying the railings.

SD40-2 might be easier than the GP38-2 shell. For the GP38-2 you need to rebuild the top with etched fan grills.

Some-thing to ponder! 57' Spine Cars.

Cast Resin with infused Tungsten powder for weight.

As talked about on the Z_Intermodal Yahoo group.

Other items still on the bench.

    Hi all,

I am trying to build a Z scale look alike of a D&RGW 72xxx drop bottom gondola. Still a lot of hurdles to take...
Body will be 3D printed. Yellow parts are either etched or brass parts.

I have three sets cast so far. I have not drilled bolster holes yet but do plan on it tomorrow. Currently I have been casting 53' trailers to run on top of them.

Note, the 57' Spine car can be used to haul two 28' trailers, one 40'-53'Container, or one 48'-53' trailer. I will use mine for containers and trailers.
