Hello all... back from a whirlwind, but very nice, trip to Texas. The set-up and show were very nice-great seeing old friends and meeting new ones (We'll make a trip back soon!) Here are picks of "Arbonado" in the setup (main buses with the powerpole connectors were added the evening before the setup, and once the tracks was given another good cleaning, it performed wonderfully!) Thanks for looking! Bruce
Thanks for the update. I recognise a lot of the Aust-N-Trak guys. Sent from my DROID4 using Tapatalk 2
I would say your modular took the cake. What the hell did they hook you onto on the left side. Those two modules don't even go together. One of my pet peeves with modular groups, is they don't blend one module into the other. Sent from my lousy HP - Notepad, worst computer I've ever owned and I wouldn't recommend your going out and buying one.
One thing a video shows off. Oh before I forget I did enjoy the video. Now back to my comment in progress. The video will show how fast the trains are running. To fast and it's obvious as can be.
When it is just our club, all our modules are from the same era and area well blended together. However when going to a show, I only take a few modules and add them to the jumble. Never really bothers me. I just suspend reality in my mind and focus on running trains and having a good time.
So a member of the local club has a set of modules depicting a very nice prairie scene with grain elevators and a small town. The only trouble is, for some reason, he wants to add a mountain line to them, . I've been envisioning having it as a large wooden trestle, maybe partially on fill embankments running behind the town. I'm just wondering if anyone has any photos of a pain of modules depicting something similar, with a large trestle running in behind a scene of prairie elevators.
