The 250 was replaced by the 350, which retains your programmed setttings and is much improved. Mine was $69 (350).
On MTs web page the 2-8-0 they have listed in the online Conversion chart is the old 2-8-0. They haven't listed any info on the new Bachman 2-8-0...
If it is the brushes Kato should have some spares. I know almost all of their motors use the same brush set.
There is an ebay auction for the new 2-8-0. Looks like the HO model (the only real giveaway that it is N is the motor). Awesome detailing!
