Once the hydracal dried, it left a lot of pock marks from bubbles. Plus the surface was far from level and smooth.
I tried to groove out the rail flangeways with an old boxcar. It didn't work.
I tried hydracal first. I mixed it to a consistency of oil and poured it on, hoping to get a nice level surface.
