I believe this is an example of the magnetic modelling system that was featured in an April issue of MR a few years ago. It was designed for people who don't have floor space to have model railroad on the ceiling. I wasn't aware that anyone was using it this extensively.
I did a similar upside-down April Fools hack to my website several years ago, but few thought it funny. I thought it was hilarious!
Just having a little April 1 fun. First the easy one, the photo was just rotated 180. The text is just copy/paste from a web site that does this sort of thing for you. You can Google up-side-down text and find many sites for this.
