What scale is particular model? The track almost looks like N?

The beauty of the smelter is the scratch-built rotary dump that actually operates. No it is not a Walthers kit.

    smelter operations video

I thought some might like to see this video shot by Mopman of operations at the Lone Star smelter on the Mogollon Railway. The working rotary dump is in the shadows but something can be seen working in the shade. Switching at the smelter is a fun thing to do so time passes slowly. Real ore is loaded into the ore cars and then brought here and dumped. Hope you enjoy it.

NOTE-this is NOT a link to another train website, it is my photobucket video. Thought I had better inform those in charge about it.

I think it might be N, but don't know for sure as all the text is in Japanese. I love following the Japanese links and going from site to site never knowing what I'll see next. I believe someone here had used the word whimsical to describe narrow gauge modelling... and it's the perfect description. A whimsical approach is what gives it so much charm. :)

The engineer on that Shay looks a little bit too relaxed. I am worrying that he may doze off any minute! :D

I was likely the person who used that word. That's probably why so many fall under the spell of narrow gauge modeling.
