Can anyone please give me some sites for sourcing typical south western structure (incl.adobe) kits? Think Arizona and New Mexico - I know that covers a huge area but usually they are "lumped" together for some reason. Many thanks, Pete.
1:48 scale (my scale) is a bit tougher to find good buildings than HO. For 20th century buildings (common to the entire US), there is a company that offers brick buildings. There are a number of cottage industry suppliers of buildings as well; most of these are specific to the D&RGW. 1:48th has a long history as a scratch builder's scale for buildings. Most people get their windows from Grandt Line and read magazine articles to get tips for how to create certain looks. I make all of my own windows...it isn't really difficult...so you don't have to be limited by commercial offerings. Mcihael
Yes, I've now realized that! I've found at least four plans since I started this thread.... Many thanks, Pete.
