I was messing around with the use of DPU'S and came up with this. This is the first peek at my new layout. Impressive! How many of those hoppers were Trinity 5161's? Sure looks nice. I wish I could build a train that big on my HCD layout, but it would chase its tail at about 30 cars.
nice video ! i like to run trains with dpu as well. usually 1 es44ac in front, 50 coal hoppers, another es44ac followed by 30 more coal hoppers.
Thats slick man! Back in the day ( late 80's) we always wanted to run helpers,but pre dcc it was out of the question. Just remember to do your train check when stopping
