Within the first week of January 2010, all entries will be put up for a public vote, in which all members of TrainBoard may vote for their favorite entry(s), regardless of whether you submitted an entry or not. OK, enough of that bureaucratic reading. Let the contest begin!!!

My third photo that I am entering into the contest is this one from the CRANDIC--CIC slug 124 takes the lead with 130 as they pull 65 coal cars uphill and around the newly built "P" Track main west of ADM. The cars were taken to the Alliant Energy Prairie Creek Generating Station in SE Cedar Rapids, IA.

On October 11, 2009, the CRRM had D&RGW OB Pile Driver being demonstrated while Shay#12 operated around the track. It was a cool winter day that added to show.

Yes, there was "Fruit" smashed during the demonstration... :D :D :D

On May 9, 2009, the CRRM had their 2009 Goosefest and had five of these wonderful pieces of Rio Grande Southern history running around the track; including the replica of #1 (original lost to time), #2 show here, #5, #6, and #7[/FONT]

    I took a spin on #5 :D :D :D

Well does not look like I will get much train chasing in during the next few week so I will go with what I got. If something does come along I can always change things.
This was Sunrise in San Antonio this October after the Texas Eagle had made a backup move to get onto the old MKT line and head out of town.

This was taken a little while later in New Braunfels from the Texas Eagle.

This one was taken back in July right after the KCS reopened the line from Rosenberg to Victoria, Texas. The business train was running back and forth on the line to let folks know trains were running. Here it is coming off the Colorado River bridge into Wharton.
