Hi, all, As a general public service to the model railroading community at large, I'd like to share the following. X2011 West, the 2011 National Model Railroad Association Convention, will be held in Sacramento, CA on July 3-9, 2011. The current registration fee for the Convention is a very inexpensive $99! But, that price will be available only until September 1, 2010. After that, it will increase to $139. The 2011 NMRA Convention is being called the “Unconventional Convention”, since not only do we have an unusually low registration fee, but will have both bus layout tours and self-guided layout tours, specialized clinic tracks all week, and an emphasis on including scale and prototype modeling from many different groups and scales, not just NMRA.
