I know it seems so far away as it's only February but mark your calendar!

    https://www.n-scaleweekend.com/

Seems like it will be at a better venue. Blair County Convention Center!

I wondered too. Looks like the show is in Altoona, PA, between Pittsburgh and Harrisburg.

The show is in Altoona, PA so Blair County would be in PA. :)

I guess you don't have GOOGLE in Wesconson.:giggle: Oh well, probably too far for you to travel but there is another N Scale Weekend in Columbus, Ohio in May. That is a little closer to you.

Central Ohio Ntrak: Save the Date for the 2022 Ohio N Scale Weekend

Both are great events with exclusively N scale layouts and venders. Usually about a dozen layouts including Ntrak, Ttrak as well as other sectional or modular layouts.

Oh yes we do. It's on both my computers. Was on the stupid smart a phone as well.
Which state? WI, IA, PA, AL? o_O Ah! The decisions.
Not everyone has the transportation necessary. And I don't live in the USA anymore.

Thanks for the link. Maybe in the future.

Colleen and I went to last year's N Scale Weekend in Ohio and thoroughly enjoyed it. Highly recommended.

Would be nice to get to Altoona this year since haven't been. But my time off in '22 is pretty much already committed.

Altoona Is in Blair County. The convention Center is south of Altoona along Interstate 99. Just my opinion but this is going to be a great venue with very easy access to the Convention Center off I-99. I'm not knocking the Jaffa Center in Altoona, but there was a lot of city streets that had to be negotiated to reach the location.

Mike, Any plans for a Trainboard group photo at this years get together? I can only attend Saturday.

For anyone who lives in the Pennsylvania Ti-State Area, this is a great weekend for N scale. There are usually a lot of vendors, many selling hard to find items. There is also a number of manufacturers who have booths at the show and plenty of operating N scale layouts. I've never regretting attending any of these shows and it's always great to run into old friends and make a few new friends at the show.

Okay folks, it is time. The Altoona, PA N Scale Weekend is this weekend (Sep 17-18, 2022). It will be at the Blair County Convention Center near Altoona. The address is really Duncansville, PA. This has always been a great time to greet old friends and meet new ones. Lots to do in Altoona with the Railroaders' Museum and Horseshoe Curve, the Allegheny Portage Railroad and if you get a chance, visit Muleshoe curve which once was part of the Allegheny Portage RR whose ROW was purchased and used by the PRR while Horseshoe Curve was being built. In 1904 it was double tracked to handle overflow traffic from Horseshoe Curve. It was abandoned in 1981.

It was a really good time. First train show I was able to get to since COVID kept everybody in their living rooms for most of the previous year. Will look forward to the weekend next spring, as well.

Altoona, or Duncansville, or wherever in Blair County - which we have successfully established is in Pennsylvania  - this is happening this weekend would be a bit of a hike, but would love to get out to another one. Am sure you guys will all have a good time, and safe travels to all those are going!

It has been a great weekend so far. Multiple N-Trak, T-Trak and FreMo layouts. Tremendous amount of N Scale for sale.

I attended the show on Saturday morning. Great venue with lots of space. Many vendors and layouts. Saw some familiar faces. Scored some good deals on a few smaller items.

I got to meet randgust and see his work in person. They say you should never meet your heroes, but he was extremely gracious with his time and answered far too many of my stupid questions. His narrow gauge steam locos are absolute gems.
