It may not be advertised, but the HL stores in Nashville have a 30% off on train accessories, scenery items, etc. Bachmann had some new & improved train sets. The old Rapidos may finally be on their way out. The Model Power prebuilt buildings are nearly gone. You may find a few closeout items. Taking their place are some DPM building kits. Prices range $15-$19 for the normal bagged kits. It appears the Model Power postage stamp planes have been replaced by MRC ones.
I shop at the local Hobby Lobby to get some of my scenery items, such as Woodland Scenics foam and trees. They also have N scale figures and 50s-era cars & trucks. Saves me a run to Tulsa for scenery stuff.
"40% off one item" coupon available this week (week of 20 July 2009) for those who take their e-mails. Probably available through their website also. Takes some of the "bark" out of the trees pricing (sorry).
