Hello Everyone: I am wondering if CSX will be running as normal on the 4th of July this thursday coming up. I live in Gulfport, MS on the CSXT NO&M Sub (New Orleans to Mobile) and im planning on heading out to Bay St Louis, MS to catch a few trains. Thanks Everyone! Aaron Gulfport, MS
Hi Aaron, I assume CSX will run a normal schedule, though the crews might receive a little extra for working over a holiday. I hope you can get a good location with trains crossing the Bay St. Louis bridge. This photo was taken from the highway bridge walkway about a 1/4 mile away. Though I should have used a telephoto lens.
Being such a significant Holiday, I am wondering if they wouldn't have a bit less traffic. Seems like that is the way it is, where I am along BNSF.
