<font color="blue">I thought it was about time I put some pics on here of some British bits and bobs (Well now that Matt has shown me how to anyway!) I paid a trip to Ipswich, Suffolk Yesterday to visit mother and caught these whilst waiting for my ride back home. The class 153 was out of use, not sure why [ March 30, 2006, 06:22 AM: Message edited by: Tractor Girl ]
<font color="blue">I also managed to catch this class 66. I was taking the shot when out of nowhere came along this class 57!
<font color="blue">And then another! so it was a good chance to get 2 together.. Pics of Peterborough to follow soon
Tractor Girl is alive and well Two FL 57's in one photo! I have not seen one yet - looks like Ipswich is the place to go No, Carolyne, 007's name is not a coincidence I though 66's were supposed to have clean exhaust emissions Look forward to the Peterborough shots, although I guess there will be several GNER ones
Nice shots! My parents are moving to Ipswich in the summer, so I think i'll finally get chance to do some railfanning there then! Looking forward to the Peterborough ones.
<font color="blue">Why oh why oh why I couldn't wait to escape! Though I'm sure they're moving to a good part of town. Now where is that again?
<font color="blue">I got this whilst waiting for the Ipswich train in the morning.. It's a bit dark.. but didn't we have an eclipse yesterday?!
<font color="blue"> Hopefully I'll have more to put up soon.. It's getting warmer out there so Matt and I can go to Essendine & I can display some GNER on here
We have his brother here in Thailand from British Rail Engineering. I don't know which class he is in England but, we nicknamed them "Sprinters" See this picture for comparison.
<font color="blue">I got this on the same day as before whilst waiting for my ride to Ipswich. It caught me by surprise whilst I was sitting drinking a cuppa. This explains the odd angle..
