It's sad that some books go out of print before they ever find their home. One of my favorite books is the Fiddletown & Copperopolis by Carl Fallberg. He was a former assistant director and storyman on Walt Disney feature-length animated cartoons, and his illustrated book about the fictitious Fiddletown & Copperopolis (“The Line of Least Resistance”) was a great and funny read, if you can find it.

They're showing for me. I hit the like button, but only because I couldn't find a love button.

Jeff's pictures did not show for me. Latest version of Chrome on Win10. I tried http and https to no avail.

But, I was able to right click, copy image address and then paste that on to another tab in Chrome. Viola!

    Weird!

I model the 1970s era Peoria and Pekin Union Railway in N-scale and have 4 helices on my layout that connect the P&PU Yards and many rail-served industries modeled on the upper deck with a dozen Midwest cities on the lower level. A member of my NMRA division familiar with my layout is an engineer for Iowa Interstate and makes daily runs between Bureau Jct and the TZPR Yards (former Peoria and Pekin Union Rwy). Every time I see him, he says he still hasn't found the helices I've modeled, but he promises he'll keep looking.

Yeah? Well don't cut a frog into their tracks for a crossing. Their trains will crush yours like bugs.

People who drive pipsqueak trains should never throw the first stone.

Of course, I don't have a dog in this fight. Just a word to the wise.

I KNEW there was a comic strip that had a series on model trains but couldn't remember what it was.
