Any recommendations for glues when gluing styrenes to wood?

Looking for recommendations for thin glues for these applications, perhaps with a needle applicator.

Moose has been using Gorilla's Super Glue, however, it is very thick, stringy and consequently quite messy, which unfortunately results in occasional failures and often ugly results, particularly when attempting to glue small details.

I've always used a thin layer of "Liquid Nails" for this, never lets go.

Which specific "Liquid Nails" product do you use?

Moose has used Liquid Nails' 28 oz cartridges Projects Construction Adhesive to adhere foam roadbed to plywood and track to foam roadbed, but not familiar with any other of their products.

Gluing plastic to wood has always been very problematic. This starts at a molecular level.

Most of my layout holds together with No More Nails glue. Foam base to MDF sheets, tracks to foam base, sheet grass to foam base, etc. And a few I don't remember.

The stuff is pretty thick so a thin layer can be made with a spatula. But it's not for precision work because it's thick and doughey.

Aleene's Tacky Glue is my other go-to glue. It's somewhat thinner so it's easier to work with on small stuff like gluing foliage to trees, etc.

Super glue does have a tendency to get thicker and stringy as it ages. I only use it for really fine work.

Moose looking at Bob Smith brand 0.5 oz Insta-Cure+™ BSI-106. Looks like it should be higher viscosity than what Moose has been using.

The big one that you use in a caulking gun, just cut the very tip and squeeze a little out at a time.
