Well, I found my undecorated GP-35. My son wanted to run it on a layout we were visiting and figured at least a number should be on it. Good thing I had some dry transfer numbers. :D [IMG]

And to prove there is a number, here is a close up of the cab. As you can see, the window glass, number boards, hand rails and Kadee couplers need to be added. The coupler you see is the one provided with AM's scale cars and engines. Notice the nice small flanges on the wheels too. The track it is sitting on is Shinohora code 100 flex.

This is the motor set up. Here you see the springs I told you guys about for transmitting the drive from the motor to the gear tower. I do not know if they are still using this or not. Regardless, it is a smooth runner. It has a die cast metal frame for weight. It may not have to be insulated for DCC. Upon closer examination of the frame, it appears to have double sided foam tape secure the motor.

    Greg-

That's not a bad looking model!

How do you feel about it's weight? Is is satisfactory? Or would you like to add more?

I think if I were to add weight, I'd change out the spring and add the drive shafts from Athearn or Hobbytown first. As it is, it pulls good enough. Seems to me my boy ran it with 10 or so cars when he ran it as a single unit. It runs well with my GP-9 or FP-7 so I expect to be able to pull a 15 - 20 car train with them. As for the look of the engine, I like it. It has its minor inaccuracies, but after I add the grab irons and such and paint it WP green it will be fine.
