Am I wrong in saying Amtrak's Phase IV loco scheme, particularly on the P42 Genesis locos, is the least popular/least liked of all the Amtrak loco schemes? The irony is that Phase IV matches the striping of most of Amtrak's rolling stock...but it just doesn't look good on the Genesis loco. Models of the Phase IV P42 seem in low demand. I don't think Phase IV lasted that long on the rails. Phase III lasted a while, then there were some experimental schemes (Pepsi Can, the Phase 2-ish striping on the original P40 Genesis, etc), and the Phase IV which was mostly visible on the East Coast, and then all of a sudden Amtrak did their re-branding with the "track flag" logo and the Phase V locos took over, even though the rolling stock hardly caught up with it. It didn't help when the 40th anniversary P42 schemes came out and the Phase IV was the ugliest and least nostalgic one of all...
