I finally figured out something yesterday with these that was driving me nuts..another little booby trap! From time to time mine would be flying along then BAM..dead stop, light out..nothing. The only way to fix it was take it apart, reassemble again. Well yesterday it happened again. This time I pulled out my multimeter and measured the track..almost nothing!! A dead short! How can this thing short out..and I found it yesterday..the BULB!! My bulb has excess wire for the connectors and these had bent the wrong way such that they were able to cause a short. Quick adjust and hopefully this won’t happen again. All they needed to do was trim those wires. I am sure this would fool a lot of less adventurous customers who would simply return it to them under warranty. I think this might explain some of the erratic running that they are know to exhibit. Very easy to miss this.
