    Awesome!!!!

    Kim,

That is one amazing video!!! Wow!!!!

Question, if you were selling this, how much would you charge for one??? I am just fishing here but I eventually want to build a big refinery module. Part of the refinery would be New Construction to add and I will definitely have dirt work going on and animation like this is key to a realistic look and feel.

Just send me an email if you don't want to list a price here. It's not something I would need right away. In the future.

    Damn Good Job!!!!!!!

    Thanks Dave,
A small correction the Hollywood Volcano module is made by Brad. I call it Hollywood because it gathers crowd like a celebrity, folks time themselves to come back for the next eruption. Jeff's got the CraZy Y module which make many possible combinations. This NTS should be a fun show.

This is very well orchestrated Kim, what kind of wire had you use for the movement?
It look like the kind we use to pass electric wire inside walls, flat so it can only curl on one side, but your's is very tiny.

    Ben,
It is fine Stainless Steel wire. I got a big spool off ebay. Unlike fishing wire it is round but strong for its size.

Here is an electronic pendulum which opens up a lot of possibilities for animation. It uses a magnet and electromagnet with a hall sensor. Once the magnet is near the sensor the electromagnet basically kicks the magnet so based on how much time after the sensor sees the magnet one kicks it, or how strong a kick you give the speed and amplitude can be controlled. Possibilities---- Ferris wheel without worrying about alignment or precision for contact movement, bump 'n go car ride, merry go round etc...
