Another California Zephyr Ride-along!

Tomorrow, another grueling semester comes to an end and that means I'll finally get a chance to relax!
And the best way I know to to relax:


Of course, there wont be snow this trip, but that's not problem, so come aboard with me as I share updates and pictures in real time (when in range of a cell phone network)!!

I will use this thread for posting updates, interesting sights, and hopefully I'll even be able to share a few pictures and videos on the go! Feel free to comment and ask questions, but keep in mind that I may not be able to reply until I arrive at my destination.

Sure, but I'm guessing you meant location. Otherwise I'd assume that the train was changing it's destination on the fly... :tb-tongue:

All camera batteries are charged, memory cards formatted, and lenses cleaned.

Bag is almost fully packed.

Need to get the laptop out to make sure it still works (hopefully this wont jinx it, but the thing is almost a decade old!).

The station seems a lot busier than I remember from the last time I was here! A lot more younger adults in the mix too...
