Railroad Club meeting last night. Contest was locomotives. So, I entered my other 2 Rio Grande GP60's from Overland Models. Won, by 2 points over 2nd, and a total of 5 points over 3rd.

Then, won the raffle drawing, for m the 3 contest entries!

The fun was on my way to the meeting, where I almost had an accident!! Some broad came up to the intersection, 1 block before I needed to turn. Did NOT look for traffic in either direction, did NOT stop at stop sign and pulled out directly in front of me, never swerving, slowing down or even looking as I laid on the horn several times. Hoping she went her pants, or more, when I pulled in front of her!!

Only then, did she slow way down, I think when she realized I was there the entire time!! Betting that if she hit me, it would have been a hit and run!! She just didn't care!!! Or flapping her lips on a possible phone call.

It was "interesting" to say the least.

That's the way people drive now, they only care about themselves.
You can't even go on a green light with out looking twice.

This guy summons an Uber car. The driver fetches him; confirms the destination; starts to drive; comes to a red light in half a block and blows right through it. He does the same at the next block. The customer says something:

"Didn't you see those two red lights?"
    "Yes"
    "Why did you pass them."
"Oh, it's OK, my brother in law does it all the time."

The driver proceeds to blow two more red lights. Finally, he comes to a green light and stops. The customer is nonplussed:

"OK, you just blew several red lights and now you are stopping at a green?"

    The driver answered:

"Ya'neverknow; my brother in law might be coming the other way."

...............OH...................and congratulations to Original Poster on his prizes and glad that the ditzball did not hit his car............................

People not looking and pulling out in front of you is always fun… way more so when you are riding a motorcycle.

    Congrats on the awards!

Every day, on my way to work, there is one intersection on the main street in my town where people just blow on through, well AFTER the light is red their direction. I always must pull out slowly, in fear of getting smacked by some selfish dolt.
