I have two Atlas S2 switchers that will be the main power on my small layout. Are any parts available for detailing the cab interior? I have the cab lighting worked out and would like there to be something to see. Not super detail just controls and figures. If not I’ll makes some ‘boxes’ for the figures to sit on.
    Thanks. Hope all are well.

You could try to install a Cannon and Co cab set. It's designed for EMD 'spartan cabs', but you could use the seats at least. The control stand is not close at all. based on photos I have seen, there is something in the middle of the cab of the S-2, like an electrical box or something, and then the controls are against the front wall of one end of the cab.

A quick look on Atlas site at diagrams it appears there are large chassis casting parts under the side window openings and the top of the gear tower for the rear truck is in the centre so it doesn't look to be a great deal of space for too much of an interior...

If you surgically remove the crews below the waist then they could sit on the tops of the chassis sections. If you machine the chassis you could use one the Cannon kits as the basis as previously advised but also Kato did cab inserts for their NW2s I believe so another source to use the basis of but suspect you have a lot of modification work either way.

I ordered a few of the Cannon kits to play around with.

Started fooling around with the interior kit today. It looks like I can build up something that will resemble an interior. The cab on these is all open space and I'm trying to fill it so that when the cab light is on there's something to be seen. Cutting the legs off of the figures felt very wrong!

The "Control stand" is to the left of the engineer when facing the front of the cab.

I put it in the hole on the floor that are marked for it. I through some leftover shapes to try and represent some equipment.I have it finished and I’ll try to get some photos up later. Want to figure out a dim cab light that can run off F3 (green decoder wire) and install it.

If you take out that center box, and the angled section of the control stand in front of the engineer, you would be really close.

Here is engineer side of an S4. Setup was fairly common throughout S-series. I don't know why it uploads sideways.

Added a grain of wheat bulb. Covered the part of the bulb that lights the interior with Kapton tape so it wouldn’t be so bright inside the cab.
