I have a bunch of Atlas Code 55 flex track. (I thought it was ME, but it's not)

Code on one price sticker is Atlas 2000. I have 19 pieces.

I will never use this. Is it worth it to list somewhere or should I carry it to a swap meet and hope for the best?

    Pete

Code 55 flex track is in high demand so you should get a decent price for them.

Shipping can be a challenge and may be pricey due to odd size.

I have a long Priority Mail box. That is where the track has been stored.

This is decent looking flex track. You'll either love it or hate it, as it is totally the opposite of ME. Personally, I prefer ME, because I can form it and it stays as I want it. Atlas has the sliding rail and it wants to be straight in the worst sort of way. Some guys like it because "it's easier to lay that ME," which I don't buy (here's a hint.: To do a curve in ME, start from the middle of the stick and form outwards in both directions. No big deal, and it is a bunch easier to glue down.) For me the worst part is the one thing that really bothers me is the one thing I don't think atlas will ever do, make it in a code 40.

On E-pay they are selling for as much or more then $4.00 a stick.

Some shipping considerations. They will bring the price above and more, as long as they haven't been curved and remain straight in shipping. I had someone ship some HO flex track and they wound it up. Needless to say, it got shipped right back...no sales.

When laying track I prefer the Atlas flex track with the sliding rail. I offset my joints and keep the sliding rail to the outside of the curve. I don't want the ties bunching up.

More on this if you need it.
