I have one of the Centerline cars. Haven't had too much trouble with it. Still want to get one of the Atlas cars too. I like the idea of it having the vacuum.
i have the atlas track cleaning car and have never used it. i run DCC and have never put a decoder in it. had it over a year and each time i go to the hobby shop i forget to get a decoder for it. maybe one day i will remember.
So far I'm getting the idea that to get things the most clean; Take 2-3 heavy pulling loco's, put an Atlas car on sanding, followed by a CMX car, followed by an Atlas car on buffing, followed by another atlas car on Vacuum mode. Then you get 3 passes of clean and a vacuum to pick up the debris. But for the serious question. How do these cleaning cars work on say.. Unitrack where the top of the rails like to snag anything thrown their way?
