American Z Line is excited to announce BNSF SD75Is in the war bonnet paint scheme. The BNSF SD75I is the fourth locomotive released by AZL in the SD70 run. The locomotive will be available in three roadnumbers. Locomotives include prototype specific details, 8mm Faulhauber motor, dual flywheels, LED directional lighting, traction tire, optional snow plow, and come DCC ready. Just curious for the future.

Are AZL plastic locomotives hard to strip like the brass one's were?

Their has been alot of talk lately on DCC. Existing DCC users, new DCC users, and the Wanna-B DCC users are chating up a storm. MTL's GP35 DCC Decoder has been released by Digitrax. Man is it causing a stir! Poor Robert Ray! Doesn't want to post his true feelings, but Tony's has really Pissed him off!!

Anyways, I have a question about a long past posting of DCC drop in decoders for the AZL SD70's. Do you have any info on these? I run only DC, heck, I don't have a layout or a module yet, so DC is all I have. Soon, I will get into the module scene. I am still waiting on the turnouts for my Intermodal yard. Soon!!!

I am wanting to eventually get into Z scale DCC. That is where my question stems from! No doubt the AZL Drop-In Decoders will be available by the time I do transfer over to DCC, just curious if the AZL Drop-In Decoders are still in the works!

Thanks for all you do for us Rob!

AZL has been working with TCS on a drop in decoder. We are hoping to have one released by Christmas. I talked with TCS just this week on the project. With any luck, we will have enough for everyone but Robert. LOL!!

It surely looks nice, but why are the little "detail" decals missing from this and most z scale engines?

The photo of the BNSF is of the preproduction sample. The final locomotives may have more details. I know AZL has released locos with many of these smaller printed details.

    Rob,
The loco looks great.Everything looks nice except for the windows. Can one have the option of having the loco without the windows painted for all the SD versions.
    Thanks

    Kim,

AZL has asked that Ajin improve the silver painting around the windows. I have not seen the finished product to know if this has been done. If not, the windows can be removed from the shell and with a little work, the silver can be removed.

Jürg, there may be more presents under the Christmas tree. Stay tuned!

Tim, are you okay? BNSF Gundersons and now a SD75i all in the same week. LOL!

Tell me is going to be CSX. You know the KEZ has money to burn, and he would want some. I want one, and need at least three or four to pull all those AZL coal porter from your coal mine module. Have I done enouth conving yet.

    John,

You don't have to convince me! I am SO onboard with that idea. I am a east cost guy. I focus on CSX, NS and Conrail. I can't wait for the CSX and Conrail versions to come. I only need to convince AZL. It does sound like the fist coal porters will be NS, CSX and Conrail so that will be good. We just need more motive power!

Gonna be one hell'uva Christmas this year!

I just saw where Freudenreich Feinwerkteknik has posted a payment from my Mastercard Paypal account for one of his Maxi III kits!

    Life is Good!

    BNSF AZL's in December,
    BNSF MTL Husky's in November,
and an FR Maxi III kit somewhere in between.
Who knows what other cool BNSF offerings will be coming soon! :shade:

I do know this, the Maxi III kit will be painted and decaled in BNSF also! Man, I need to buy another $1.99 clear plastic assortment box from Hobby Lobby now. With a little carving and gluing of 2mm foam sheets, I'll have it ready for the next 48/49 Gundersons! The first one is full with 49 Gundersons. 1, set of 5, of FR's Maxi III's, 1 FR TTX Husky, and 43 MTL Husky's(14 BNSF "Swoosh" re-paints, 27 TTX , 1 FEC, and one special advertising Fluorescent Orange TNT'z). That has filled up one of those Hobby Lobby containers. Now I have another set, of 5, of FR's Maxi III's, and 3 MTL BNSF Husky's coming. Many more to come in the future!

So, for the people who ordered the other two Maxi III kits, they are ready, and also, the people who ordered the second release of BNSF & CSX Maxi III's, I am willing to bet that your orders will be ready soon if they are not already finished!

Thanks Harald Freudenreich for all that you do for us Z scalers!
