AMERICAN Z LINE June 2021 New Releases Part 2 Golden State Passenger sets with E7s! For sixty-six years, the Southern Pacific and the Rock Island Railroad operated the ‘Golden State’ passenger trains. These trains ran between Chicago and Los Angeles. The streamlined cars with the vermilion red and silver entered service starting in January 1948. Both the SP and RI contributed matching sets of equipment for these trains. AZL is excited to be able to offer the ‘Golden State’ in Z scale! We have two packages available, as well as additional E7s and select passenger cars.
