I found a Bachmann Plus SP 4449 Daylight locomotive. It has barely been run, based on wheel wear. It does have the split frame and their version of a can motor. It also has a smoke generator. I am planning on remotoring and going with a TS2 decoder. I am also going to add and LED to the tender and double stack two LED's for the upper gyralight. I would also like to het a smoke generator that would be timed with the chuff, instead of always on, like the factory installed unit. I was wondering if anyone knows what motor to use. Also, this is a China made one. Is the Taiwan made locomotive the one that has the gear cracking problem? What smoke generator would be good to use? Thanks!
