Well, That part is done. Now i can finish the nailing down the track. After that i want to run train to make sure there is no errors. Cleaning the track will be fun. 2 1/2 years of dirt and grime will be hard to get off. Got to be fun....

The layout is looking very good, Smoke. Good luck with the track cleaning. Maybe you will get lucky and it will be easier than you anticipate.

So far its been a pain because i used super glue on the bridges and getting that junk off is being a bit difficult. Paint is easy to get off. So far i have all the above track glued down and have run cars on it to make sure i don't have any derail issues. So far its ok. The logging camp is done and ready for scenery. That whole area is ready for scenery now. The housing for the town is about half done but am running into a issue with windows. Hard time finding them. I will see what Mike can find at Micron Art. Have some shots of the work, Later Smoke

Thanks, Still at it. Nothing better to do. Have the track done above and am working on the lower level. I also made and have about 3/4 of the wooden planking for the walkways done. Am also working on the lower level track and glueing it down. I am cleaning the track as well. I can't get a engine to run on the line as it has dirt, different kinds of glue and paint so i need to really work on that. Some shots below of the work, Smoke

well...I worked on it today. Everyone had taken to there corners so to speak and so i stayed for the most part in my room. Still stressed but better. I ballasted the track on the main line and also part of the logging track as well. On the new section on the mountain i placed a lake there as i had a depression i had missed before. Hadn't planned that, but you know how that goes. Shots below. Smoke

That old saying about what you say..My Brother-in-law died last Monday night. We flew back to be with family. Got back last night. Not the way i wanted to spend Christmas Holidays... Only thing that was good was being with family. Am burned out! I did get two of my packages of my orders in. My new Atlas Shay and my trees came in. Debs gift hasn't made it yet and my windows haven't come in yet. Thats Christmas but for a new dvd drive for my computer. One of the old ones bit the dust so i replaced it. Have a shot of the shay. Not sure how i want to decorate it yet. Its showing #5 so i think i will leave it with that number. Thinking about all black. Will see. Have to dcc it yet. I ran it on the track in Regular dc and it run ok so its dcc time. Later all, Smoke

Thanks. It was coming on because he was a junk food junkie! Only 53! Will miss him. He was always fun to be around. I am still waiting for trees yet. 6 to 8 inch for the forest areas. My 4 to 6 inch ones came in. I still haven't got my order from Micron Art yet! Maybe its a good thing i used Paypal! Later, Smoke

Well, the windows did make the trip. The trees are out there somewhere. I had a dcc chip but the wires were off of it so i will be getting another one. Fifer is out of stock but will try to get a chip from him. I got the 4-6 inch trees on to the layout. It looks better but will look even better with taller trees. Have a couple of shots as it is now. Later, smoke
