    A different video shortly thereafter showed a UP freight on the overhead line that got struck by the centerbeam. I don't know if the overhead was inspected beforehand, or if UP even knew ahead of time.

    Sure seemed like the slack in the train was really bunched up, like the DPU's were still shoving good!

    Crazy that was caught on video.

    I tell yah, it's the Missouri/Kansas state line that runs right through there that is causing all the problems. Them wheels get all tangled up in it.

    I heard something. I don't see anything in that time frame which correlates, so whatever it was must have been someplace off screen.

    I'm thinking that bang was the slack bunching up on those cars, probably a coupler or drawbar snapping in it's pocket from the force.
