I've been watching a bit of the USGA at Chambers Bay. The camera folks have been nice to us fans, and there have been a bunch of good views following trains passing the course. Most seem to be in bound to Tacoma. One was about the scroungiest looking junker I have seen in a while. The cars could have been refugees from a scrappers torch, but it was just a low class manifest likely from Portland. There should be several more rounds of play through to I'd suppose Sunday. So plenty of opportunities to see a few trains in a really nice setting.
The BNSF goes right thru a golf course on the south side of LaCrosse WI. There is a cart path crossing the main. Golfers are seen now & then. Charlie
