    Regarding the AC slippage in inclimate weather, Diesel Era had an interesting piece which had some information on the CSX ACs(70/80) versus the SD60s in weather... This was about 2 issues ago or so. If anyone can find this it's worth the time to read it.

    Alan, If you every get to the states and get out to colorado I will show you so very good spots where to watch trains. A few of the places are Cheyenne Wyoming(UP), Shawnee
    junction, wyoming(southern end of the powder river basin, both BNSF &UP),Alliance Nebraska
    (BNSF)and Crawford Nebraska(Bnsf& DM&E which is the Dakota,Minnesota and eastern)You can also check out the joint line south out of Denver
    (Bnsf,UP)
