I've tried designing brick walls a couple times but just haven't been happy with the results. Tried again the other day and for my standards I'm pretty happy with these.

I'm going to work on different combinations of walls, windows, doors that one could print out and then
glue together in different configurations without having to redesign the walls, only print the ones you want to use together out.

I don't have these up on my thingiverse account ( https://www.thingiverse.com/sumner/designs ) yet but will work on that as I come up with different options that you could print.

I think this would work even better in N scale as cement blocks, as the bricks are very small. This does look good, if a bit oversized. They look like paving bricks when compared in scale to the figure next to it. Moral of the story: this file could make good early 20th century brick roads.

I probably shouldn't of put the figure in as it is one of the get 100 individuals for $5 on ebay and they don't seem to be scaled right. The bricks are are 1/2 inch off vertically and 1 inch off horizontally so yes they are a tad big. I've found that for some things tweaking the dimensions helps visually but it is always a personal preference call. I can and did print them to exact size but to me they didn't look as good. Also it is impossible to get the mortar joints to scale with a FDM printer.

They won't be for everyone but they will work for me,
