I just got around to hooking up the marker lamps and interior light to the Soundcar decoder. The caboose now provides very realistic train sounds and it's a hoot to be able to turn the lights on and off individually. I want one of these decoders in all my cabooses.
Oh that is so sweet! The interior lighting is realistic - the warm glow is just right. If it sounds half as good as it looks, we're in for a real treat!
Not a great video but here it is. You can hear the wheels clacking over the rail joints and the flanges squealing. You can hear the caboose brakes being set at the end. I haven't tweaked anything and these are the factory settings.
Thanks. The volumes and frequency can be adjusted. My locomotive brakes are a bit loud and heavy right now and need to be tamed a bit. Half the fun is adjusting and customizing the sounds.
