I don't have any current parts catalogs, but I am sure that they are available from someone. There were so many variations of this locomotive.

I found these photos buried away on my backup hard drive, I posted them years ago when I built it but I thought I would post them again.

This is how I built my favorite Burlington Northern boxcar

    Burlington Northern number 243859

    Series 243400-244249

This series was originally built in 1961-62 by the Northern Pacific. This is a 50'6" inside length 10'7" inside height non-cushioned boxcar, door opening is 15' x 9'11", GRL 177.000, Capacity 5079 cubic foot, welded fourteen side posts.

Nice build. I don't know if I would be up to that any more.

I have had a look through my unfinished projects, I seem to have quite a few, this is just some of them...

The MC has aquired another Fairbanks Morse to go with its lonely H10-44.

This time it is a H15-44, this just needs minor details adding, a full repaint (although it is almost MC colours already!) and a suitable level of grime and rust for a FM in the early 70's...

A shame to dirty up that lovely clean machine. (It could have just been through the MC shops for an overhaul). ;)

StickyMonk I just wanted to say I really am enjoying your build. In fact its the reason I just joined up. :)
Might as well make my first post here.

Now we are at Matt's for a visit I can see South Lewistown for real! I already have five locomotives which will be running on the layout under the Andersley Western road name. :)

My quest for short Walthers funnel flow tanks is at an end, and not quite how I was expecting to find them.

Found these beauties at the Spalding model railway show, still sealed!

    £5 each I think is a bargain

It is interesting how few people look or inquire about what is under the tables. I have found a few gems that way.

I finally got the 3 Walthers tanks built up, they are riding on Kato and Athearn genesis trucks, they will need detailing up and scale couplers adding, along with weathering.

I forgot how much a pain walthers plastic is to glue, nothing some cable ties couldn't sort.

Got some more track down in the main switching area of the layout, still need a diamond crossing to finish off the back area.

At least I can operate now :)
